Former Bears quarterback Bobby Douglass was arrested in Lake Forest Wednesday night and charged with felony criminal trespassing to a residence and criminal damage to property, prosecutors said.

Douglass, who was quarterback for the Bears from 1969 to 1975, appeared this morning in a Lake County courtroom, where his bond was set at $10,000.

Douglass, 63, is accused of breaking down the door to the home of an on-again, off-again girlfriend at about 9:30 p.m., Assistant State’s Attorney Marc Bangser said.
