MOTORCYCLE ART
The Elmhurst Artists' Guild is sponsoring a motorcycle art exhibit in the Elmhust Art Museum through Aug 15. A reception for the one-man show featuring the art of Wesley R. Baker is set for 1 to 4 p.m. July 20. Admission to the museum at 150 Cottage Hill Ave. is $4 for adults, $3 for seniors, $2 for students and free for kids 12 and younger. CRUISE NIGHT

The Ladies of Fass Glass Corvette Club presents Heels with Wheels, an all-make, all-model car show for women car owners by women car owners July 19. ANTIQUE AUTO SHOW
The Illinois Region of the Antique Automobile Club of Chicago and the Lake Forest Rotary Club present the 60th annual Auto Show July 20. Advance registration for the show, which includes all cars from 1983 and older, ends July 10. Day of show sign-up is from 8 to 10:30 a.m. The fee for judged cars is $30 through July 10 and $50 afterward; fee to show a car is $15 or $25. Admission to the show, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Deerpath School, on Dearpath Road east of U.S. 41, is $10 for adults and free for kids 10 and younger with a paid adult. The LaPorte County Historical Society hosts its our 1st annual Old Car Show July 26. The show, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m, will feature cars at least 30 years old. The Illinois State Police District 15 and the Illinois State Toll Highway Authority will host free child safety-seat inspection events throughout 2008 at tollway facilities. The inspections will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on this schedule: July 26, Hampshire; Aug. 7, Schiller Park; Aug. 30, Downers Grove; Sept. 20, Downers Grove; Oct. 18, Hillside; and Oct. 25, Dixon.
