Prep sports profile: Ryan Petersen
Ryan Petersen had to lead a number of young players on Stagg's water polo team.
“[Petersen] would lead drills, take players aside and give advice,” head coach Wes Gonzalez said. “When players might be losing focus, he could straighten the team out and get everyone back on the same page. He was reliable, hard working, played through injuries and fatigue and never gave up on his teammates.”
