It seems chef Rick Bayless has been by bitten the acting bug. In addition to next summer's remount of Lookingglass Theatre Company's "Cascabel," a dining-entertainment fusion show being presented at the Goodman Theatre, Bayless will be trying his hand at improv comedy for the first time this winter. On Dec. 1, the celebrated chef will appear onstage at Stage 773, 1225 W. Belmont, in "Improv Nerd" with host Jimmy Carrane, where he'll perform one entirely improvised scene. The performance will also be available later as a podcast. Tickets are now on sale at www.stage773.com.
