8A: Marist 14, Oswego 7
In the pouring rain, Peter Andreotti and Marist made the most of superb field position and held Oswego in check.
Andreotti ran for two touchdowns as the RedHawks (8-3) started three drives inside Oswego territory. Andreotti had 16 carries for 64 yards.
Quarterback Steven Frank paced Oswego (9-2) with a touchdown pass to Trevor Matczak. Frank was 5-for-15 for 78 yards with a touchdown and an interception.
Marist quarterback Jack Donegan was 5-for-9 for 65 yards.
Marist will receive to open the second half.
The winner will play either Naperville Central or Neuqua Valley in a semifinal next week.

8A: Stevenson 14, Barrington 0
Willie Bourbon threw a pair of touchdown passes in the first quarter -- one to Cameron Green for a 37-yard score and the other to Jack Sorenson from 11 yards.
There is a lightning delay that occurred at halftime and fans were evacuated from the stadium. No word yet on the start time of the second half.
The rainy weather has affected Barrington the most, with a muffed kickoff return that led to the Patriots' second touchdown, and two interceptions.
Stevenson linebacker Jason Vravick picked off Dan Kubiuk at the Patriots' 33 to stop a Barrington drive in the second quarter. Green had the other INT at Stevenson's 32 just before the break.
The winner will play Loyola in an 8A semifinal next Saturday.
