A man in his 30s was shot in the leg Saturday night in the McKinley Park
neighborhood on the South Side.
Someone shot the man at 9:10 p.m. in the 3300 block of South Ashland Avenue, according to police News Affairs Officer Ronald Gaines.
Gaines said the victim was being treated on the scene for a gunshot wound to the leg and had not as of 9:40 p.m. taken him to a hospital.
Area Central detectives are investigating.
