A man was shot multiple times in the chest Monday night in the Tri-Taylor neighborhood, police said.
The victim, a man in his 30s, told police he was shot three times in the chest in the 900 block of South Claremont Avenue about 7 p.m., according to police.
Someone drove him to University of Illinois Medical Center at Chicago where he is being treated, according to police.
His condition was not available immediately.
