Firefighters have extinguished a fire this morning that spread from one building to an adjacent one in the West Side's Lawndale neighborhood.
The fire started about 5:45 a.m. in an unoccupied 2½-story brick home in the 4000 block of West 21st Place.
Flames spread to an occupied home next door, Chicago Fire Department spokesman Larry Langford said.
No injuries were reported.
