A body of a man was pulled from Lake Michigan near the 5700 block of South Lake Shore Drive.
The body of an adult male was pulled from Lake Michigan this afternoon on the South Side in the city's Hyde Park neighborhood.
The Chicago Fire Department responded shortly after 4 p.m. to a call of a person in the water on the 5700 block of South Lake Shore Drive, according to Fire Media.
A man was pulled from the lake and was dead on the scene, officials said.
As of 5:30 p.m., the man has not been identified. Police are investigating.
