Authorities: Pedestrian dies following traffic wreck

A pedestrian who was hit by a vehicle in Cicero died Friday night, authorities said.
The victim, a male of an unknown age, was a pedestrian who was hit by a vehicle in the 3400 block of South Cicero Avenue in Cicero, according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office.
He was pronounced dead at 7:44 p.m.Friday at MacNeal Hospital in Berwyn, according to the medical examiner’s office.
A spokesman for Cicero was not available.
