Ald. JoAnn Thompson (16th) remained in the hospital Monday morning after she collapsed at an Englewood neighborhood music festival hosted by her office on the South Side.
Paramedics were called to 63rd and Peoria streets about 7:55 p.m. Sunday and took Thompson to Rush University Medical Center, according to Chicago Fire Department spokesman Larry Langford.
Langford said the alderman was stable but had no details on what happened.
The festival was held Saturday and Sunday from noon to 10 p.m.
The alderman's office had no immediate comment.
