At least six people were wounded early Sunday morning in four shootings across the city.
A man in his mid 30s was shot in his left waist in the 4600 block of North Broadway about 4:15 a.m., Chicago Police News Affairs Officer John Mirabelli said.
He was sitting in a car when someone opened fire, Mirabelli said. It's unclear what prompted the shooting and the man was in stable condition at Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center, Mirabelli said.
That incident happened about a block from the scene of a shooting that left four people wounded Friday evening at Wilson Avenue and Sheridan Road.
That intersection saw two other shootings with multiple victims since Nov. 22, including one that injured a woman at work, and a 20-year-old man was shot and killed a block from Sunday morning's shooting on Dec. 4.
About 1:50 a.m., two people were shot at a house party in the 500 block of North Avers Avenue in the East Garfield Park neighborhood on the West Side, police said.

Before the shooting, the 41-year-old man had tried to break up an argument between the 18-year-old woman and another man, who left the party but returned with three or four friends.
Someone from among that group pointed a gun into the house when someone was shutting the door and opened fire, striking the two.The woman was taken to Norwegian-American Hospital in good condition, police said. The man ended up at John H. Stroger, Jr. Hospital of Cook County but it's unclear how, police said. He went into surgery for his wounds.
Both men wound up at Mount Sinai Hospital but it's unclear if they drove there or were taken by ambulances.
One of the men sustained multiple gunshot wounds and the other was shot in the shoulder, Greer said. Both are in "stable" condition.
