Lakeland cops arrested Jared Edward Pauley, 42, and Luis Daniel Bosque-Pabon, 19, for allegedly swiping 174 batteries from various traffic control devices, warning beacons and even a cell tower, according to a news release from the Lakeland Police Department. The duo removed the batteries during day time hours, wearing regular clothing and “posing” as workers, police said.
