Scouts help with Memorial Day observances [Glenwood/Glenelg/Dayton]

As a bugle played "To the Colors", members of Boy Scout Troop 72 raised the American flag at Crestlawn Memorial Gardens in Marriottsville May 23 to start the Memorial Day weekend. While some people were sitting in traffic jams trying to get to the ocean, members of Boy Scout Troop 72 from Shepherd of the Glen Lutheran Church, Boy Scout Troop 793 and Cub Scout Pack 761 from Glenelg United Methodist Church and Cub Scout Pack 793 from Bushy Park Elementary School were busy placing over 1,200 flags on the graves of members of the military who are buried at Crestlawn.
