Travel Channel to explore Al Capone's life in Miami

The Travel Channel will explore Al Capone's time spent in Miami during the 1930s and '40s on an episode of "Time Traveling with Brian Unger" set to air 8 p.m. Thursday. The 30-minute show will use CGI to take viewers back in time as host Brian Unger and his crew visit Capone's home on Palm Island in Miami Beach, the bank where he kept his money, plus the Dade County Courthouse where he spent three days on trial.  The notorious Prohibition-era mobster lived on-and-off in Miami starting in 1928 when he first bought his mansion for $40,000, according to the Miami Herald.
