Millersville man indicted in Halloween killing in Anne Arundel

A Millersville man has been indicted for murder in connection with the shooting death of another man last Halloween during an apparent botched robbery attempt. Gregory Dontae Lewis, 34, of the 700 block of Cecil Avenue, was indicted by an Anne Arundel County Grand Jury on Friday on charges of first-degree murder, second-degree murder, manslaughter, armed robbery and multiple firearms violations. The victim, 44-year-old Rene Filsfdelfo Leiva Archila of Baltimore, was found suffering from a gunshot wound in a parking lot on Railroad Avenue in Harmans at 7:45 p.m. on Oct. 31.
