Why not establish a Towson University Press? [Letter]

When the economy "returns" in 2034, it's my hope as an alumnus of Towson University Class of 1972 that it will establish a Towson University Press book publishing arm that will give the university a larger presence across the United States, as well as a global footprint for the first time. There are now no public university presses in Maryland, while states with smaller universities than ours such as Kansas and Oklahoma have both excellent and financially thrving publishing branches. I don't see that we must wait for the larger University of Maryland to be the first. Towson U. should create its own uniqueness in this way, and there are now several published book...
