Amazon is expanding Whole Foods delivery service to Prime Now members in Anne Arundel County, the online retailer said Wednesday.
The move follows Amazon’s June launch of Whole Foods delivery in Baltimore. The online giant acquired the grocer last year in a $13.7 billion deal.
“With our goal to cover as many Prime customers as possible with this new service in Annapolis, our coverage is expansive,” Tanvi Patel, head of business development for Prime Now, said in an email.
The delivery area stretches from Ferndale and Glen Burnie in the north to Harwood and West River in the south, and from Bowie and Kettering in the west to downtown Annapolis in the east.
