'Backyard Bodies Fitness at Slayton house'

A six-week session of Bare Fusion fitness classes will be held Mondays through Wednesdays beginning Oct. 10, at Slayton House, 10400 Cross Fox Lane. Classes include ballet-inspired movements, interval training, Pilates and isometric moves to strengthen, lengthen, and stretch muscles. Cost for the six-week session is $120; $15 for drop-ins. Participants should bring yoga or cushioned mat, socks, and water.

'Once On This Island'

Red Branch Theatre Company presents this Caribbean adaptation of "The Little Mermaid," Oct. 14-29 at the Drama Learning Center, 9130-I Red Branch Road in Columbia.
