These venue selections a bit too traditional for you? Most everyone knows you can get hitched at some offbeat places in Baltimore — Camden Yards, the National Aquarium, the Zoo. But we we're curious about some even more unusual spots in town.
Yes, you can do it. To reserve your wedding spot you must fill out the $35 application and attach a site plan to send to the Baltimore Recreation and Parks Permit office. Pricing depends on where in Canton you want to hold the ceremony. "Korean Memorial War is off limits, but you can reserve elsewhere," said Anita James, permit coordinator.

Federal Hill (the actual hill)
Yes, since it is a public area, the same rules apply as with Canton Square. After filling out a $35 application fee along with a site plan for your wedding, you can reserve an area. "We usually tell people to get their application in within 30 days of the event just in case we have any problems, we can tell them ahead of time," said James
Broadway Square in Fells Point
Yes, anyone can get married in the heart and center of Fells Point. This outdoor wedding space requires confirmation from the Baltimore City Recreation and Parks Permit office (same contact as Canton Square; that Anita James is a busy woman).
Edgar Allan Poe's grave/Westminster Hall
Though Mary Jo Rodney, Westminster Hall's coordinator of events, doesn't recall anyone ever having a wedding at Edgar Allan Poe's grave, she says "that's not to say it wouldn't happen." Weddings actually have happened outside among the gravestones. There's no permit needed for this public space, but husbands and wives-to-be would have to pay a nominal fee for staff and persons to be on duty to lock down the cemetery. So if you're going for the goth wedding, simply call the general number to reserve a date.

Natty Boh Tower
The current building owners of Natty Boh Towers Realty say it's not possible.
Yes. The inside of the monument is closed for renovations, but the outside is still available for a historically profound wedding. Your contact, again, is Anita James.
