Coach Billick: Good, a little disappointed, at first, at the tempo. I think they kind of had their eyes a little too far forward at the game, which is natural. But they snapped it back into shape and it was a good practice.

Billick: I have no idea, I've been signing autographs and talking to you all.
Q: Brian, how frustrating is it when you get out to watch the special teams practice and you see Lamont [Brightful] struggling so much with the drops?
Billick: There's only so much you can do to help someone with confidence he either has to believe what he's doing and snap out of it or he wont. Lamont's a good young man, he's been there and he'll fight his way out of it.
Q: When you see someone have that kind of trouble, obviously you're not his position coach, but as the head coach, what can you say?
Billick: There's only so much you can really say. Confidence is a personal thing, he's got to know that we have confidence in him. We've done that, we've been down the road with Lamont before, but he's got to find that confidence to do what we know he can do there's only so much you can do as a coach.
Q: Could you find outside help in that position?
Billick: Sure, we're always looking, you can't bet on it. But we're always looking.
Q: Any idea of what the starters numbers will be on Saturday?
Billick: We'll try to get 25 snaps, or so, which is maybe a half.
Q: Is it going to be the same rotation at quarterback?
Billick: Yeah, again, we'll just see how far that 25 snaps takes us, we'll get it hopefully early and get them out of there.
Q: How nice is it knowing that you're going to Philly this weekend with a new stadium and field you don't have to worry about?
Billick: Well, I'll check it, but I'm sure it's fine and I know they're excited about that stadium and it sounds like it's a beautiful venue.
Q: I'm sure you've heard the latest reports about Deion [Sanders].
Billick: Our profile hasn't changed, he's obviously doing his due diligence to see if this is something he really wants to do. Certainly we'd love to have him in and when we get to that point, he'll be in.
Q: When you say, "you'd love to have him in," meaning what to have him workout or to sign him?
