Toad's Place is a historic concert venue and nightclub located on York Street in New Haven. The club's name and promotional images on its sign and fan paraphernalia evoke Toad from the classic ¿The Wind in the Willows.¿ , many touring bands have played on Toad¿s stage to rave reviews. Some of the best known musicians and rock and roll artists, including the Rolling Stones, Johnny Cash, Bruce Springsteen, Counting Crows, U2 and Billy Joel. After a recent underage drinking charge in 2006, adults 21 and over are the only people allowed to the concerts.
