Rodgers Forge: Plumer family shares golden memories of Rodgers Forge

Fifty years is a milestone in anyone's book, so we were thrilled to learn that the Plumer family has lived in Rodgers Forge for 50 years.

Edward and Mary Plumer moved to the Forge on Feb. 13, 1962.

Ed Jr. and his two brothers attended Rodgers Forge schools, and today he and his mother continue to live in the same house. They keep up with neighborhood activities, and Ed and I catch up with each other every year at the community annual meeting.

Their love for Rodgers Forge has only grown over the years. Ed summed up their fondness when he said, "My mother and I both love Rodgers Forge and all of our neighbors. We both hope for many...
