Spotlight on Dulaney grads: lax player, social worker [Lutherville-Timonium]

If you had asked me as a college student about my career plans, working for a newspaper would have been high on my list of possibilities. My path instead took me into the world of book publishing. It was there that I stayed until my first child was born. More than 17 years ago, I left full-time employment. My husband, Dennis, and I were blessed with three children: first came Reid, then Brennan, then Celia. They are 17, 14, and 12. I have been sporadically writing on a freelance basis and am delighted now to be taking on a new role and joining this newspaper as your Lutherville-Timonium columnist.
