9. Petraeus' Shakespearian storyline - Fond fools serve mad jealousy

In William Shakespeare's "Othello," an important general finds himself the victim of a little scheme, concocted by a disgruntled subordinate, to bring him down by making him jealous. It's a tawdry, less-than-credible bit of business involving a handkerchief, and every time you see this play you think, really, that was enough to convince this smart man of the infidelity of his seemingly lovely and ever-supportive wife? That was enough for him to risk his entire military career on a whim of pique?

  13. Tough guy shows vulnerable side in latest Bond film, 'Skyfall'

James Bond has never been more vulnerable than he is in “Skyfall”. The opening of the film sees 007 (Daniel Craig, in his third performance as the world’s favorite secret agent) accidentally shot by his amateur partner (Naomie Harris). Bond blames the incident on the overly hasty orders of his superior M (Judi Dench). He isn’t eager to go back to work for his careless boss, so he plays dead and takes a few months off.

  19. Movie review: 'Skyfall' shows James Bond still sharp and fit at 50

If "Skyfall" is the new 50, James Bond is handling it remarkably well. Five decades after the first cinematic incarnation of 007, novelist Ian Fleming's agent provocateur, the spy-craft in the new film is sharper, the intrigue deeper, the beauties...
