Bringing legend Paul Robeson back to life

Anthony Brown grew up listening to the voice of Paul Robeson. Today, he does his best to keep that voice alive for new generations. Brown comes to the Kimball Theatre in Williamsburg on Saturday to give a performance of "I Go On Singing," his tribute to the great actor, singer and social activist. "When I was a child my parents would play his music, and I was taken in by that deep, rich bass voice," Brown said in a phone interview from his home in Kansas. "My parents had tremendous respect for him, and that was internalized in me. I was drawn to him and compelled by him."
