The operators of Portside Tavern in Canton got approval from the Baltimore City Liquor License Board on Thursday to expand into its neighboring building, the former AKA studio, a hair salon. The annexed building will operate as a separate restaurant named Cask & Grain, said Portside operating partner Steve Roop. Confirming information in a story about the expansion that appeared in the Baltimore Business Journal, Roop said that Cask & Grain will be in the style of a farm-to-table restaurant.
