Angel Rosario (August 6, 2003)
Performing: ''One More Try'' and ''Anytime''
You might know me from: Karaoke nights at the Tally-Ho Tavern in south Bethlehem.
The day job I'm not quitting yet: Customer service representative at Fleet Bank in downtown Bethlehem.
Greatest asset: ''I would say personality. I'm a people person, very friendly and approachable.''
Biggest fear: Not being able to please and take care of the people I care about, my family. ''I guess that's everybody's big fear.''
Mom and dad: Luz and Angel Rosario, a Marine Vietnam veteran, who moved to Bethlehem from New York City 14 years ago.
First time I sang in public: About a year and a half-ago at the Tally-Ho. ''One of my best friends heard me sing, and he thought I'd be OK there. I got an OK response, so I thought I'd try and go on.''
How I'd describe my style: ''I can sing a lot of R&B, like Boyz II Men and Brian McKnight. I'm not into fast songs, but I like slow songs, ones I can pour a lot of emotion into.''
What would Simon say: ''I think he would like my energy onstage. And I think he definitely would like my voice. I don't think he'd be too rough on me. But I don't know. Simon is kind of tough.''
