The Friendly Fellows and Daisies met on Feb.12 at the Methodist Church in Claremont.
The American pledge was led by Nick Alberts and the 4-H pledge was led by Landon Marzahn. Roll call topic was favorite U.S. president with 25 members present and 4 Cloverbuds.
A few thank you notes were read for communications. New business followed with leader Mike Frey discussing the ski trip for next Sunday February 19 at Andes Tower Hills. Renee Marzahn reminded new members about projects books, as she will be ordering this next week. We also discussed the Kids Against Hunger activity coming up in March. Donations will be accepted as well as the club making a donation. The Newshound was read and various portions discussed with the group. Beef Affidavits are due the end of March and 4H camp was discussed.
A talk was given by Kennedy Clark on Hershey, Penn., and the chocolate factory.
Following the meeting club members worked on fair projects and Cloverbuds constructed rockets. Lunch was served by Brandon Stanley.
The next meeting will be on Sunday March 4 at the Kids Against Hunger building in Aberdeen.
