Aberdeen Roncalli students will present a one-act version of the play The Crucible by Arthur Miller at 7 p.m. Monday in the Roncalli Cafeteria.
The performance is open to the public. Donations will be accepted.
The students will compete in the region one-act play contest on Tuesday at Aberdeen's Capitol Theatre.
The Crucible is directed by Steph Litzen.
The cast includes Brian Monson as the Rev. Parris, Mary Wachs as Betty Parris, Sabrina Mount as Tituba, Jenna Croymans as Abigail Williams, Shelby Bauer as Mrs. Ann Putnam, Taylor Wilson as Mercy Lewis, Brooke Olson as Mary Warren, Favian Aguirre as John Proctor, Collin Hilzendeger as Giles Corey and Judge Hawthorne and Mitch Musel as the Rev. John Hale.
Also appearing are Rachel Morrison as Elizabeth Proctor, Kyle Martin as Ezekiel Cheever, Liz Hansen as Susanna Walcott, Alyssa Wherry as Elizabeth Booth and Cody Zikmund as Deputy Governor Danforth.
Michael Hartze is the student director. Wherry is the stage manager. Tyler Wanttie handles lights, and Kyle Martin is in charge of sound. Working on props and sound are Anna Sayler and Mattie Zerr. Costumes are provided by Susie Ewinger.
