Rabeea K. Choudhary is joining the staff of Sanford Aberdeen Clinic as a nephrologist.
She specializes in diagnosing and treating kidney disease. Conditions she typically treats include hypertension, acute kidney failure, chronic kidney disease and post kidney transplant medication management.
As a specialist in the areas of internal medicine, geriatrics and nephrology, Choudhary will offer on-going clinical support in the clinic and hospital.
Choudhary received her medical degree from the Aga Khan University, Pakistan. She completed her residency in internal and preventive medicine at Griffin Hospital, which is associated with Yale University, Conn. She completed her fellowship in geriatric medicine at Rush University Medical Center, Ill., and in nephrology at the University of New Mexico Hospital, N.M.
She is board certified in internal medicine, geriatrics and nephrology with the American Board of Medical Specialties and also has a master's degree in public health.
