Deputy performs CPR on choking La Cañada baby

Deputies saved a 1-year-old La Cañada Flintridge baby who was choking on Friday night, authorities said.

The Crescenta Valley Sheriff’s Station responded to the home on Oakwood Avenue on April 5. Dep. Michael Winter of the Crescenta Valley Sheriff’s Station performed CPR on the baby, eventually clearing an obstruction, according to the station.

The baby is expected to recover.
