Jennifer M. Browne passed away on the 11th of February, 2011, at the age of 65, at Providence Saint Joseph Medical Center in Burbank, surrounded by those who love her most dearly.
Jenni was born on the 19th of December, 1945, in Wellington, New Zealand. She followed in her sister Marilyn's footsteps by moving to London, England in 1964. She moved to Rome, Italy in 1969, where she met her husband Roger. They married in 1976 and their son Roman was born in Rome in 1979. The following year they moved to the States and settled in Burbank, where their daughter Kelsey was born in 1985. Jenni was always active in her children's school and extracurricular activities. In the last few years, she became a pet therapist at Providence Saint Joseph Medical Center with her beloved dog, Bo. Jenni was known and will always be remembered for her selflessness, her kindness, her sweetness, her radiance and her incredibly infectious smile.
Jenni is survived by her husband Roger, her son Roman, her daughter Kelsey, her sister Marilyn Fownes of Studio City, her brother Terry Butcher of Wellington, New Zealand, her niece Lauren Christy of Valley Village, her nephew Brandon Fownes of Sherman Oaks, plus numerous other family members and friends.
The funeral services will be held at 3:30pm on Friday, the 18th of February, at the Church of the Hills at Forest Lawn Hollywood Hills. For those wishing to pay their respects, the viewing will begin at 3:00pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to a cause dear to her heart, the Pets with Purpose program at Providence Saint Joseph Medical Center in Burbank.
