Photo Gallery: Local vintner makes wine from Deukmejian Wilderness Park vineyard

Ten months after the first meeting about the wine making process, Stone Barn Vineyard Conservancy director vintner Stuart Byles serves up some freshly-pressed wine on October 8, 2011 in La Crescenta.   The 2010 alicante bouschet harvest was fermented for about one week before pressing. The relatively small harvest this year will make about 40 bottles of 2011 vintage.
