Orlando's Orange Avenue bustles in 1925, when the Beacham Theatre was showing 'The Lost World' (a kind of silent 'Jurassic Park') and the relatively new Angebilt Hotel greeted visitors. Hotels and motels have played a large role in Central Florida's past; survivors such as the Angebilt building count among our 'places that matter.'
