When The Rolling Stones needed a replacement for guitarist Mick Taylor in 1974, guitarist Keith Richards pushed for Wood to take Taylor's place in the band. Since 1976, Wood has been with the Stones and rocking out worldwide with Mick Jagger jumping around onstage. Wood turns 62 years old today.
