Smartphone game Apps are hotter than ever-- and that’s why a Central Indiana college student has gone into business and developed a game he hopes will cash in on the excitement and help sick children at the same time.
The game is called Dodge the Dots. It is a skill based game created by Rag Tag Games where you dodge the dots that are headed for your player. But the unique thing about this app isn’t just the game, a portion of the proceeds will benefit the Riley Children’s Foundation.
Jon Turpin, the owner of Rag Tag Games said partnering with the IU Dance Marathon is a great way to help a great cause.
"We wanted to be able to help the community. Indianapolis is a volunteer and a philanthropic community. There's tons of opportunities to help people."
The IU Dance Marathon hopes to raise $2 million this year. The marathon kicks off on Oct. 26. More information about the game is available online.
