A prominent Whitestown employee has been charged with battery and is accused of kissing and groping two female city employees in the workplace.
Kevin L. Servies is currently on leave from his position as Utility Operations Manager.
According to an affidavit for probable cause, one of the victims told police Servies followed her into her office in the Town Hall building and asked her if she worked for Human Resources. She replied, "Yes." Servies alledgedly told her "You're supposed to say no to that," and asked her the same question again. The woman said she replied "No" this time and then he grabbed her behind and was squeezing and rubbing it. He then told her "Okay, then you can't write me up for this."
The other victim told police Servies had also grabbed her behind while at work and begged her to perform oral sex on him on an almost daily basis. She said he also came up behind her while she was helping a customer and digitally penetrated her behind.
The victim said Servies had even kissed her on the lips and at one point threw her up against the wall of a storage room and groped her.
Servies has not been arrested, but has been summoned by the Boone Superior Court for his first court appearance scheduled for October 24.
