The Indiana Pacers are looking to bounce back from their first loss Saturday in the NBA playoffs.
Orlando Magic again at Bankers Life Fieldhouse at 7:30 p.m. Monday.
Saturday night's game came down to the wire, with the Magic coming out on top with an 81-77 score. However, the Pacers are confident they can make the adjustments for Monday night’s game.
Now, wins on the road are always important, and if the Pacers fall short again Monday, they will really have to step it up when the series heads to Orlando, Fla. for games three and four.
Despite having one of the lowest attendances in the NBA during the regular season, fans are slowly beginning to show up and cheer on the Pacers in person.
“The Pacers are a good team,” said fan Todd Fenoglio. “It's a good franchise. It's been a while to root for them. They got a good record this year and we're glad they're in the playoffs.”
To give a little kick to that moral and team support inside the Bankers Life Fieldhouse, an Indianapolis Colts star is doing his part!
Punter Pat McAfee is hosting a playoff party Monday night and announced he is giving away free tickets to the second Pacer's game. He announced the giveaway on Twitter Sunday, stating, "I bought 375 extra pairs of tickets for Pacers game manana. Pat's Pacers playoff party. Get a pair. 5 pm tomorrow. Home court gift shop."
McAfee later tweeted again, clarifying the "rules" for the giveaway, saying "Pats Pacer playoff party does not cost a dollar. Keep your money, just show up in the gift shop in the Fieldhouse at 5 pm. Let’s get wild."
According to the official rules for the event, deemed #PatsPacerPlayoffParty on Twitter, fans can begin lining up at 4:30 p.m. In order to get the tickets, fans must shoot a free throw. Fans that make the free throw will get four tickets to the game. Fans that do not make the free shot will get two tickets.
The shooting order will be determined by the line order. All tickets are expected to be distributed by 6:15 p.m.
Tipoff is at 7:30 p.m. Monday.
