Former lingerie model talks respect with Hoosier girls

Kylie Bisutti spoke at the Called Out to be Real event in downtown Indianapolis Sunday

A former Victoria's Secret model was in downtown Indianapolis Sunday, to speak to and motivate dozens of Hoosier girls.

Kylie Bisutti was the key note speaker at the Called Out to be Real event, thrown together by Get Real inC., a Christian based non-profit organization founded by Katie Wolfe of Avon, Indiana. The group encourages, equips, and empowers girls to be respected, educated, able, and loyal.

"I thought that I was being a good Christian by modeling in lingerie," she told a crowd of girls at Bankers Life Fieldhouse. "I can honestly say, that a few years ago, the Lord would probably not have approved of almost anything that I was doing."

According to the organization, Bisutti recently walked off the runway to talk with girls about the choices they make, body image and faith.

"I feel that they have a lot of pressure to live up to it and I just want them to know that they don't have to," said Bisutti during the event. "It really means a lot to me to be able to just share my heart with them and hope that some of that impacts them."

Young girls also got to listen to an inspirational talk by Fever forward Tamika Catchings. The event was also a partnership by the Indiana Fever.
