Hoosier football fans, keep your fingers crossed and hope that Head Coach Kevin Wilson can lead a team on the gridiron.
Because he definitely isn't going to be pitching for the Hoosiers baseball team anytime soon.
All joking aside it was a star-studded affair at Victory Field Wednesday night, as Indiana University football Head Coach Kevin Wilson and Indianapolis Colts' linebacker Gary Brackett threw out the ceremonial first-pitches before the Indians contest against the Toledo Mudhounds.
Though credit has to be given to the ole' ball coach for throwing a pitch that wasn't embarrassing, Bob Eucker's voice could have been echoed over the loud speakers with the "Just a bit outside" call.
Brackett, who was announced as "Rocket Arm" and given a number fifty-eight jersey with the nickname on the back, threw a perfect strike down the center that brought Indians fans to their feet.
For an update on Coach Wilson's first off-seasonan with the Hoosiers and talks of the opening game against Ball State University at Lucas Oil Field, or to hear how Gary Brackett has been keeping himself busy writing a memoir in the off-season, click on the videos on the left side to listen to interviews with both "pitchers" from Fox 59 Sports' Brittany Diehl.
