Danny Granger had 21 points and 10 rebounds as the visiting Indiana Pacers easily dispatched the Washington Wizards 113-96 on Tuesday.

Tyler Hansbrough added 17 points off the bench for the Pacers, who improved to 8-3 under interim coach Frank Vogel and maintained their one-game lead on Charlotte for the No. 8 spot in the Eastern Conference.

Andray Blatche scored 21 points, and John Wall added 15 points and 10 assists for Washington.

The Wizards came out strong to grab a 30-25 lead after the first quarter, but could not maintain that pace as Indiana began to take over. The Pacers dominated the middle portion of the game when they outscored Washington 65-38 in the second and third quarters.

The Wizards were still within 48-45 with less than three minutes left in the first half when Indiana ripped off a 10-4 run to push the lead to nine points at the break.

The momentum carried over to the third quarter, with the Pacers increasing the lead to as much as 88-63 as Granger went off for 12 points in the frame.
