Will Notre Dame basketball star and South Bend native Skylar Diggins stay in the Midwest?

Tonight, we will learn where the Washington High School grad's professional basketball career will take her.

Diggins is expected to be one of the top picks in the WNBA draft.

The draft starts at 8 p.m., and you can watch tonight live on ESPN2.

Mock drafts have the Phoenix Mercury taking Baylor's Brittney Griner with the number one selection.

Many analysts are split over the second and third picks.

Some have the Chicago Sky choosing Diggins with the second overall pick and Delaware's Elena Delle Donne going third to the Tulsa Shock.

Other draft boards have it the other way around.

Diggins leaves the Irish as the all-time leading scorer with more than 2,300 points, several player of the year awards and other honors.

She led to Irish to three straight Final Fours and back-to-back title game appearances.
