BRIDGEWATER, Va.—Bridgewater College has hired former Hokie Ike Charlton to be an assistant coach for the upcoming season.
Charlton comes to the Eagles staff from the NFL Association Intern program.
Charlton, who most recently played for the Montreal Alouettes of the Canadian Football League, was drafted by the Seattle Seahawks in the second round of the 2000 Draft, and played for 6 NFL teams.
He was a defensive back for the Hokies' 1999 Big East Championship winning squad. During his time in Blacksburg, Charlton played in three bowl games as a cornerback for Tech before declaring for the NFL draft after his junior season.
