In this week's recruiting roundup, Mark Turgeon and the Terps' player pool in the class of 2016 continues to swell.

Football recruiting

-- Class of 2015 defensive end target Byron Cowart will commit Sept. 28. The five-star target is considered a Florida lean.

Basketball recruiting

-- Kansas transfer and Maryland target Andrew White is heading to Nebraska.

-- Class of 2015 center target Diamond Stone is still in regular contact with Maryland, his father said.

-- Class of 2015 guard target Chris Clarke reportedly does not have Maryland among his new top seven schools.

-- Class of 2016 guard target Bryce Aiken received an offer Thursday from Maryland. He reportedly has offers from Miami, South Florida, Creighton and other schools. View highlights below:
