In this week's recruiting roundup, a big Terps football target moves up his decision day and three Terps basketball commits get on the radar of ... McDonald's?
-- Class of 2014 offensive line target Damian Prince will announce his college choice on national signing day, moving up his announcement to Feb. 5 from Feb. 14. The Terps reportedly are in the top three for the blue-chip tackle, along with Florida and South Carolina.
-- Class of 2014 guard commit Melo Trimble scored 16 points Thursday in a 63-58 win over Paul VI, the third-ranked team in the nation, with Terps coach Mark Turgeon in attendance. On Saturday, he went for 30 points in an 82-74 win.
-- Class of 2014 guard commit Dion Wiley returned Monday from a left foot injury to score 11 points in a 68-64 win. He went for a season-high 29 points in a 95-69 victory Tuesday. Fun facts about about Wiley: He likes Melo Trimble, Mark Turgeon's "little sayings," Meek Mill and Under Armour shoes.
-- Trimble, Reed and Wiley were all nominated for the 2014 McDonald's All American Game. There are nearly 1,000 nominees, so the nomination means little unless it leads to a spot in the all-star game itself.
