In this week's roundup, the book is closed on some Terps football recruits' high school careers.

Football recruiting

-- Class of 2014 offensive line commit Jared Cohen of McDonogh was credited in part with helping the Eagles rout then-No. 1 Gilman, 37-6, in Saturday's MIAA A Conference final.

-- Class of 2014 athlete commit Will Ulmer was 1-for-4 passing for 9 yards and one interception and had 14 carries for 63 yards and 1 catch for 5 yards in a 17-10 win Sunday.

-- Class of 2014 wide receiver commit Juwann Winfree had three receptions for 114 yards and a touchdown in a 41-14 win last Friday.

-- Class of 2014 linebacker commit Tyler Burke had a sack in a season-ending 31-0 loss last Friday night.

-- Class of 2014 defensive line commit Brett Kulka returned an interception 50 yards for a touchdown in a 55-25 win Friday. Apparently, his favorite restaurant is “anywhere that serves a burger.”

-- Class of 2014 safety commit Jordan Noil has stood out this season.

-- Class of 2014 defensive line commit David Shaw was “big” but not all that effective in stopping a season-ending 24-0 loss.

-- Class of 2014 safety prospect Josh Woods is now Class of 2014 safety target Josh Woods, after the McDonogh player received a Maryland offer this week.

-- Class of 2014 defensive end/linebacker target Melvin Keihn of Gilman is heading to Virginia Tech for an official visit this weekend.

-- Class of 2015 offensive line target Richie Petitbon has the Terps in an early group of four standout schools.

-- Class of 2016 wide receiver target Trevon Diggs, brother of Stefon, has a season-long highlight reel (with unsavory language included) available. Get some popcorn and enjoy.
