Terps freshman wide receiver Stefon Diggs was named ACC Rookie of the Week for the second time this season for his play in Maryland's 19-14 win over Wake Forest on Saturday, the league announced Monday.
Diggs, who also received the honor during the week after the Terps' loss to West Virginia, had over 100 yards receiving for the second consecutive game. He caught five passes for 105 yards, including a crucial 63-yard catch in the fourth quarter that set up the game-winning touchdown, in the victory against the Demon Deacons.
Terps linebacker Demetrius Hartsfield also received honors from the conference, picking up the Linebacker of the Week award.
Hartsfield finished with 10 tackles, including seven solo, one pass breakup and a sack in the win. He sacked Wake Forest quarterback Tanner Price on fourth-and-15 with less than a minute remaining in the game, sealing the victory for the Terps.
