Diggs, who also received the honor during the week after the Terps' loss to West Virginia, had over 100 yards receiving for the second consecutive game. He caught five passes for 105 yards, including a crucial 63-yard catch in the fourth quarter that set up the game-winning touchdown, in the victory against the Demon Deacons.
Hartsfield finished with 10 tackles, including seven solo, one pass breakup and a sack in the win. He sacked Wake Forest quarterback Tanner Price on fourth-and-15 with less than a minute remaining in the game, sealing the victory for the Terps.
A Terps freshman has won Rookie of the Week honors in three of Maryland's last four games (Perry Hills vs. Temple, Diggs vs. West Virginia, Diggs vs. Wake Forest).
