After a wait of nearly seven months, the Maryland football team finally has a second commit in its Class of 2015.

A three-star running back out of St. Thomas Aquinas High (Fla.), according to 247Sports.com's composite rankings, Sands also had offers from Cincinnati, Syracuse, Wake Forest and Western Michigan.

He had 51 carries for 639 yards and eight touchdowns last season. You can view his highlights here.

Sands, who had long favored Maryland, joins Linganore offensive lineman E.J. Donahue as the only members of the Terps' recruiting class.
